Volunteers needed for the 2022 Anthem Go Outside Festival (GoFest)
On Saturday, October 15 and Sunday, October 16, Roanoke Valley Trout Unlimited will partner with Orvis and Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing to promote our organizations, demonstrate fly rod casting, and demonstrate fly tying. Orvis will have a large tent in Franklin Road, near the Williamson Road intersection. They will have a tent space and table for us. Their casting pond will be in front of the old Norfolk Southern building. See attached map for details.
We need volunteers to help with fly rod casting demonstration. Orvis will provide rods and reels. Sessions will be in two-hour increments. To sign up, click on the link below:
